Amalgamated Custom
My As-I-Like-It Rolling Pin
Going with the theme of if you can't find it, make it is exactly what I did. This unfindable rolling pin is an amalgamation of walnut, cherry, maple, mahogany and sapele.
Thelma's Salt Bowl
My mother-in-law so loved our salt bowl, she asked me to make one for her. This, too, is an amalgamation of Cuban mahogany, maple, walnut, sapele and cherry.
Rebekah's is a sweetheart of a friend. Hell, I consider her my sister. So I didn't know what to get for Hanukkah. This came to mind and she loved it. The saltmill (left) is lacewood, the peppermill is sapele.
Rebekah's Hanukkah Gift
A maple mortar & pestle for my family in Spain. They had a rather substandard one that was dysfunctional for smooshing garlic. This one is going to smoosh garlic effectively until the end of the universe.
This is my first attempt at a salt bowl.
It's layered sapele, maple and cherry.
