I was asked to make these bookends by one of my nurse anesthesia students who was dating another one of my students.  Her favorite number is 33.  This made from solid Cuban mahogany; the wood also shows sign of some beautiful spalting.

This high pressure cylinder rack was made for our dive gas business Techfills.  We got a great deal on the tanks and they needed a proper home.

My good friend Carol asked me to make her a beehive.  Of course, I said yes.  So she hands me some crazy, hyper-Xeroxed plans and this is what came of it.  I couldn't use any glue, because bees apparently don't like glue.  The damn twist nails I hammered in the box joints nearly made my arm fall off. I should have seen if Mjölnir was available.

This box I made for a friend of mine, Jackie.  She's a nurse anesthetist and performed my anesthetic for me.  As a thanks, I made her this box of my own design.  It's made from mahogany, sapele and the handle is lacewood.

(Okay, if you're really interested in the article associated with this slide ruler, go pull up - A Manual Slide Rule for Target-Controlled Infusion of Propofol: Development and Evaluation; Anesthesia & Analgesia; 2002; 96:142-7.  The main author is Jorgen Bruhn, MD.)

These humdingers are propofol slide rulers.  They are used to titrate dosage during surgery.  It's a long story; suffice it to say they work great.  They ought to after all the hours I spent on the computer cleaning up the rotten internet images.  Solid cherry and lasering.
